  • Get Counselling support for Career Decision-Making, Education Planning and Job Searching from a Youth Employment Resource Centre ("YERC") Counsellor.  YERC Counsellors are onsite every Wednesday and available by appointment.
  • Group Workshops covering the most up-to-date skills and information you need to find work in today's job market. Our experienced CARE facilitators make sure every workshop is informative and interesting. Each session is a maximum of 3 hours, and you can choose which sessions will best help you reach your employment goals. View the CARE Workshop Calendar.

Youth Keep Working
7 weeks of life and employability skills training, guided work experience at Above the Underground, computer training through projects, First Aid Certificate, job search, resume and cover letter writing. 6 weeks of real life opportunities through a specific community project where you can develop new skills for today's workplace while leaving a legacy within your community.

SSCY ("Hire-a-Student")
Employment Services and Programs - The Service Canada Centre for Youth (SCCY), formerly known as "Hire-a-Student", is an office which works with young people, mostly secondary and post-secondary students. The primary mandate of the SCCY is to assist students in their search for summer employment by connecting them with local employers and helping them prepare their resumes.
